Basses boomed throughout the entire venue and the pulpilation was on even before the first look hit the runway. It was a personal collection for the designer Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos, who revisited his roots and took us on a journey to his home country Greece. All white looks came in flowing silhouettes and breezy silks and chiffons, providing for the perfect summer feeling. Dresses were draped and Kaftans and tunics went alongside swimwear and several menswear offers. Even though the looks had somewhat expected shapes (having Greek goddesses in mind) the designer managed to put his collection straight forward by adding a fresh and contemporary touch. A clean cut body was combined with a trench like coat and belted in the waist, and when everyone was expecting nude sandals and accessories to match with his all white looks, Dimitri put just the right amount of black and brought old friends to new places and straight into summer 2017, already in the know of what we will be wearing for next year’s holidays.
